Author- God- Publisher- Holy Spirit- Editor- Jesus Christ
As Webster defines the meaning of what is an author? The definition alone brings to mind the very existence of the triune God in our lives.
Upon reading God's word we know that we are "His workmanship" "Created in His likeness" and "Knew us before we were in our mother's womb".He states that "He is Author of our faith” and ‘He knows our beginning and our end’ this is what an author in life writing a novel does, he/she creates a story, a character and forms the events of the lead character’s life in each and every chapter from the beginning to the end.
The Author is responsible for the character and therefore takes great strides in protecting him/her from any unwanted influences.(“No weapon formed against thee will prosper, every tongue that rises up in judgment I will condemn.”)
The Publisher works as co-author (Holy Spirit) making sure that the novel gets first place on the shelves for all to see. Protecting the life of the lead character,('I will make his enemies to live in peace with thee") (“You will be the head and not the tail, above and not beneath”) guiding the person into truth and light.
Then as with every written piece of work there are corrections to fix although some is left to show that the main character needs his/her Author to continue writing the chapters of their life which is beyond their control.
An editor is then needed (Jesus Christ) He sees that the corrections are fixed and offers to erase them. (“ For God so loved the world that He gave His only son that whosoever believes on Him shall not perish but have eternal life’) (I will remember their sins no more”).
As the God Head Trinity relates to an author, publisher and editor they all work together for the good of creating a story which will enrich the lives of others.
